BEHIND THE SCENES: Every good heroine has a creation story right? So why not take what I am preaching in our first season of Foundations of Deconstructing Patriarchy, History & Myth…and make sure that Gaia/Innana/Ishtar/Ashereha gets Her Creation Story? I wanted this to have the the familiar Genesis text…helping readers familiar with the Bible to see “what could have been” or “might still be discovered”…if we keep looking for it! Next, She reached into the waters below and with a sweep of Her hand, She scooped the Wisdom of the Ancient Crones from the depths. She gathered Them into a great sphere and cast it into the Sky Above, that Its light might shine forever more.

She called this Great Ball in the Sky Above Selene — The Moon. A sentinel over the Great Waters, destined to guide the tides and the coming Wombs.

Selene, however, was shrouded in darkness, Her light a sensation just beyond the touch. Like a secret too deeply buried, She was unable to cast forth the Ancient Crone Wisdom She harbored within.
