An Invitation to join our newest publication to the Deconstructing Patriarchy brand
For the past few years, many of you have followed my work as I’ve explored history, mythology, religion, and the cultural systems that shaped the world we live in through Deconstructing Patriarchy.
You might have heard towards the end of 2025 my desire to start working on another venture at some future date called Deconstructing Money (DM).
Well, in addition to starting a new YT channel (The POS+ Channel, coming this fall replacing the old channel) to go along with the new POS+ name for patriarchy (see this post here) — I’ve also been busy taking the first step toward DM with getting back into the Life & Health Insurance world. (Thanks AuDHD for always keeping my life full of new ventures 🫣.)
Insurance is one of the most important financial decisions we make...and one of the least understood or appreciated.
Most of us spend more time researching our next phone, car, or streaming service than we do understanding how to protect our health, income, family, and financial future.
So I decided to do what I love most: deconstruct it.
Yesterday I launched our newest brand publication called Deconstructing Insurance.
Just like Deconstructing Patriarchy, the goal isn’t to tell you what to think or what to buy.
It’s to help you ask better questions, challenge assumptions, and make a complicated system understandable.
If you’ve ever wondered:
Do I actually need insurance?
Why is health insurance so confusing?
What’s the difference between all these plans?
How can I better protect myself, my family and my (financial) future?
...this new publication is for you.
The first article starts with what might seem like a strange statement coming from a licensed insurance agent:
“You Don’t Actually Need Insurance.”
(At least...not everyone does.)
